Patty Rocklage is a psychotherapist based in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Patty has been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 1981. She has accomplished a lot since she started working as a psychotherapist more than two decades ago. Patty specializes in family and marriage therapy. As a family and marriage therapist, she is committed to helping couples, individuals and families prevail over their problems. Patty is married to Dr. Scott Rocklage. On July 18, 2016, the couple visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to offer a gift to one of the departments. Dr. Scott, Ph.D. 82′ said that they were presenting the gift to the chemistry department because it had been the foundation for his professional career while he was a student.
The gift was to assist with the costs that would emerge from the renovation of Moungi Bawendi’s nanochemistry, Lester Wolfe Professor of Chemistry and Nanotechnology lab space in Building 2. Dr.Patty Rocklage did his Ph.D. studies under the department of chemistry. His lecturer at that time was Professor Richard Shrock, a Nobel Peace Prize Winner. Members in the department paid tribute to Patty and Scott Rocklage for their gift. Some of the members who expressed their gratitude include Professor Moungi Bawendi, the head of department, Timothy Jamisson and former Department head Sylvia Ceyer. Scott said that he was happy that he was part of Dr. Shrock’s research group when he was doing his Ph.D. He stated that he made some great, success-driven life-long friends at MIT and pledged to support the department of chemistry in case of any pressing issues.
Patty and Scott’s home was used as a case study to show the incredible work of a renovation company known as Sudbury Companies. The couple had several renovation projects in their home, and so they went looking for subcontractors to do the job. Ed Freedlender and his crew from Sudbury Companies got the job. The company looks at saving the costs and making the renovations in line with what the clients want. In the end, the company saves time, resources and energy needed to do the renovations. Very few companies can match the efficiency of Sudbury Companies when it comes to renovation projects of a whole house.
