It is a sterling example of using Redwood for Construction.

Morris Graves was a local fine art painter and teacher. He had a home in the mountains where artists could live and work for a few months. My own art teacher at HSU said that living in this communal studio was the high point of her life... Having contact with the other artists in this Trinity Alps retreat helped her create better paintings...
