HOME SWEET HUMBOLDT BY WoMama
Slow Down, twenty-five miles per hour.
Take your time, and smell the flowers
Grown around this humble haven of love
It’s a mellow day, in A-R-C-A-T-A,
I’m gonna make my way, from Guintoli to Sunny Brae,
To find my friends, and play some reggae.
Yeah it’s the good life here, got so many favorite local beers
It’s so sincere, this peaceful atmosphere
I hope to make it clear as to why I’m still here
I’m eating healthy these days, from garden grown organic ways
The sunset plays upon the beautiful pacific waves
And every single day, I hear my heart say,
Say the west is the best, but the northwest is even better
A heaven of kind, with the redwoods and the beach together
There’s something magical about this place we call home.
And every time I’ve got to go away,
I see America in so many different ways
Can’t wait to get to get home, that’s why I say…
“Home Sweet Humboldt, I’ve been gone too long,
I need to find a quiet place to sing my songs about my
Home Sweet Humboldt, a dream of evergreen,
finally found a place where I can feel I’m free to let it out
